ISRO today launched the country’s third lunar mission Chandrayaan 3 from the space center of Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 2.35 pm. ISRO Chief S. Somnath told after the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3 mission that Chandrayaan-3 has started its journey towards the moon. He told that LVM3 has installed Chandrayaan-3 accurately. According to the information, Chandrayaan-3 will enter the moon’s orbit on August 5. Chandrayaan-3 has a lander, a rover and a propulsion module. Its total weight is around 3,900 kg. A rover of Chandrayaan will land on the lunar surface and its positioning will be done in the Lunar South Pole and the rover will share important information with Indian scientists after landing on the lunar surface.
