Hyundai has launched its smallest and most affordable SUV Exter in the Indian market. Exeter prices start from Rs.6 lakh onwards and go up to Rs.10 lakh for the top-spec trim (all prices ex-showroom, India)
The Hyundai Exter is available with both petrol and CNG fuel options and is available in five trims – EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect. Hyundai says it has received over 11,000 bookings for the Exeter, of which the AMT variants account for around 38 per cent, while the factory-fitted CNG trims account for 20 per cent.
It measures 3,815 mm in length, 1,710 mm in width and 1,631 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and ground clearance of 185 mm.
Hyundai’s Exeter is ready to compete with Tata Punch, Citroën C3 and Maruti Suzuki in the Indian market. According to its price, its competition can also be seen from the lower variants of Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
